Disney's Ride Archive: Theme Park Concept

In 2016, I developed and pitched "Disney's Ride Archive," a theme park concept designed to resurrect beloved, defunct Disney rides as immersive VR simulations. The pitch video presented a museum-like attraction where guests could experience defunct rides like Adventure Thru Inner Space, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and Epcot's Horizons, all through meticulously recreated 3D CGI simulations. The proposal was so finely customized to Disney that their response, "Why would we buy our own IP?" unintentionally validated the project’s authenticity. To ensure both Disney– and myself– that I was not pitching their IP, I successfully secured a U.S. patent for the concept, elements of which would later power an augmented reality startup called Replayar (US 10,127,730 B2). A nostalgic yet forward-looking innovation, The Ride Archive would unite Disney fans across generations and bring cherished memories to life.
